![]() Could you take a pic of the plumbing from you overflow for me please. I am planning a coast to coast in my 8' - 300 but I want it to be completely silent with no vertical pipes inside the tank.

Sure, I'll do that tonight. I think a long tank would really benefit from it. I know in my setup the debris tends to circle around the return nozzles from the sump. It eventually finds it's way to the overflow but a coast to coast would work MUCH better.

![]() this is a very cool Idea, out of curiousity tho, why not treat the baffles like a second sump/refugium? then live foods can venture into the tank at free will. also can be a sweet breeder area of the tank for inverts and smaller fish. personally I think you have a sweet lil Idea there, I'm gonna follow this thread, as I am curious to see if the 350gph will be enough flow... after all you don't need a hell of a lot of flow for a refug...
