[quote=gregzz4;674846]Yup, it's one of 2 I'll be running. One for the DT and the other for the UV, Chiller, Chaeto tank and a pair of reactors for Phosban and GFO.

A 1262 Eheim seems like a lot of pump for a 75 gallon return. How many feet of head do you have?

What you probably don't know is the sump will be in my office, on the other side of the wall from the DT.
So to answer your question, I'll have roughly 4 verticle feet, 3 horizontal feet, and a bunch of 90s, unions and a true union ball valve. This gives me somewhere around 5-6 feet of head pressure with this pump. This pump only puts out 450GPH @ 2 meters, so I should be OK. I will be running this circuit with a ball valve to bleed off excess back to the sump, so no worries if it's too much.
I can only hope that I get around 6-700GPH when the smoke clears.

Ok now a 1262 makes more sense and yes it can be throttled back and then they use less wattage also !

Yes they can be throttled back, but I actually plan on running both wide open and using the valves to by-pass what's not needed.
