It's not worth $1000 imo, but then again, there's not much I would put in my tank that I consider worth that price range. Some with deep pockets may disagree, I'm sure.

I'm not even sure I like it that much. It's unique, that's for sure, but I'm not sure that makes it nice

1000 bucks is way too much. I saw a marble clam at the seamax show for 350 and I thought that was too much, but I guess its supply and demand. If there are guys out there paying 3500 for a red arowana, there bound to be some one out there who is willing to fork out a g-note for it. Just not me. I rather buy equipment.

It's pretty.. But I've lost too many $65 clams to even THINK of spending that kind of money on a clam that with my luck will end uo being a pretty white empty shell on my shelf 3 months later.
