My pair does the same thing. I love to watch the shrimp plow sand with the goby keeping watch.

It's the same with my pistol and goby pairs. There like a construction crew.

My pistol shrimp uses shells and sometimes shells with live hermit crabs still in them build stuff with sometimes too. It's funny to watch.
