Default Just bought a test kit

My first time playing scientist lol it was pretty fun ... My reading were

Ph - 7.8
Ammonia - was unclear between 0 - .25 ppm
Nitrates - 10ppm
Nitrites - 0ppm

Are these good for my first results? This is after a week, i did one water cycle but was just informed I shouldnt do water changes for the first month. Is that true?

Assuming it's a new tank, how long did it cycle for?
