Default Changing 70w to 150w

Does any one know if i can change my burnt out viper 2k 70watt ballast to a 150 watt Electronic Ballast. Can i just change the ballast and the light bulb or do i need a new set up?

I think the difference is a spacing thing. The socket gap will likely need to be adjusted. I know I've seen adjustable (70/150) sockets for sale on ebay so the pins/sockets themselves appear to be the same.

Not sure if the wiring inside the unit would need to be beefed up to support the added current as well?

I might be interested in the viper if you wanted to upgrade fixtures.
