How to catch fish in a rocky reef tank WITHOUT a fish trap

I am like the others, if a net goes anywhere near the tank, they all hide. Fishies are not stupid. But very cool this worked for you.

As Tony/Delphinus knows, we had to let the fish go to sleep, and then try to catch then, this tends to have a higher success rate for most.

Orange fan sponge.

On another note, caught my Lavender Tang, Niger Trigger, and cleaner wrasse.

The cleaner wrasse was by accident.

I have tried it before, but without luck.

Then again, I never left the net in for that long.

I have done the same in the past, problem tangs/angels keep
a net under a nori clip for a week, after they use to it its just a
matter of having a fast scoop!
