Had one for years in my 72 Gal bow...no problem, just looks like a fossil.

wait, they move? I had one in my 90 and it never moved once in like 9 months. I thought they were like oysters that way.

hahah yeah they move their not the fastest little fellas but they can get around, maybe it depends on the type of chiton....slower than snails....if thats possible lol

I've had the little ones in my tank for years with no issues. I probably have around 50 or so at any given time. They seem to keep themselves in check.

I have some in my tank also, they came as hitchhikers and I have a bunch now. Only problem I have with them is they eat the coraline off the back of my tank. I'm trying to cover the back so it's counter productive. Better to have a nice diversity though.

How old is your tank? Perhaps a stage in your tanks age?
