![]() so if we are talking about feeding, than lets also ask, do you experiance in coral growth and development/color when you feed ore not feed.
I never fed my corals, maybr once in a while, but always wondered, if I should do more, ore not even feeding the green algea, I considdered, but as culturing them is a big hassle, I never got to that, as I did not know it there was lots of added benefit so if you write that you feed, pleas also incloud your experiance with the development part, thanks |

![]() I found my Duncan coral grew much faster when I fed it a few mysis a few times a week. Same with RBTAs. Nothing else grows any faster or has any color changes in my tank (brains, Candy canes, Acans, Euphyllia).

![]() Acan Plus to my acans every 2 - 4 days. Mysis once a week unless I feel like treating the fish too twice a week. I dont feed the zoas or the hammer but I am sure they grab what they can after the pumps scream back on.
With acan plus I have noticed my acans really have grown and are especially puffed up the day after feeding |

![]() I don't feed anything but the fish. My tank is doing better now than any other tank I've had where I did feed the corals.
Personally, I think feeding corals is a waste of money and adds extra nutrients to an environment that I'm trying to keep low nutrient. honestly, whether it's a good idea or bad, it's too early in your tank to be worrying about it. Get your levels right, add a fish or two, crack a beer, relax and watch the tank.
