Default refugiun question

heko i am setting up a small refugium and wondering what kavan light to buy?i have a 2700 now but not sure if thats ok .also is it worth setting a refugium up if you are thinking about trying bio pellets?

generally, lower Kelvin bulbs do better with plants, so I would say go for that.

I agree with Raf, I'm using a standard 2' NO bulb off the shelf at Home hardware, Cheato grows like crazy. Nothing special needed for the bulb.

I would go with a 6'700k bulb. Great for growing any type of plants/algae! Even just a cheap walmart fixture with a screw in PC bulb works great.
