How big is the lighting footprint? Same as your halides?

I miss my Darth Mauls...yours look sweet. Mine were up to 7 polyps when they got buried in the sand by my Jawfish.

The halide system used 3 150W's with 4 80W T5's, these are rated as 250W of halide each. In all at max intensity they are far brighter than the halides are and appear to cover more area.

Funny enough the tank dropped to 75°F yesterday as the heaters were turned way down (The metal halides provided enough heat to keep the tank warm). Fixed that so the tank should be running around 78°F today. As far as growth goes only time will tell, these things do make for VERY easy reaquascaping compared to the previous fixture. |
