It is possible that the owner really likes aiptasia and thought that they were quite novel, and thus allowed them to thrive. Kinda like how some people keep Xenia

Newbies always think that they are supposed to be in there. I had one guy who was quite proud of it until I told him what they were - bad bad bad.
