![]() hmm maybe something died in your tank and the algae is consuming the nitrates before you can mesure it?
When I had a lot of caulerpa in my tank my nitrates always showed 0 in my tests, but the algae grew like mad, so having a test showing 0 is not really an indication I think. Quote:

![]() Even so, isnt the bacteria supposed to use up the nutrients before the algea can use it?
Ill have to check on the dead critter possibly tho...
