I work with electricity and i work for a co-op but I don't know if that's what your looking for.

An Electrical Engineering Technologist is not considered an electrician.

I think by you working for a CO-OP, You’re referring to a corporation.

What I meant by Coop is "Co-operative Education Program". This means a program which alternates periods of academic study with periods of work experience in appropriate fields.

I am a powerlineman, some utilities want their new hires to have electrical engineering or power systems technician diplomas pre hire and give them credit on their apprentiships. And I do not work for a corporation, it is a member owned co-op utility.

are you registered through your school's COOP program? Know that's how I and other govt departments hire (FSWEP and COOP).

What kind of experience are you looking for? And for when are you wanting this placement? Many of my friend's (myself included) are engineers and own our own companies. If you let me know what you are looking for I'll put the feelers out for you to see if anyone is looking for an electronics guy. If things go well, I might need someone to design some specialized buckboost power supplies come January.

I'll warn ya, right now is a tough time for co-ops. Because of the economy many companies haven't been taking on students. I have gone back to university to do my PhD because the job market is slow (though I also own and run a company as well).
