Default Lawnmower Blenny a jumper?

Are lawnmower blennys prone to jumping? Poor thing, I had him for a few years, and he thought living outside the tank, would be a better idea. Darn.

Yup they jump. My diamond spotted watchamn goby jumped out of the tank the first day I got him. My 5 yr old daughter grabbed him and threw him back in.

I've had an LB jump as well, although I suspect he may have been helped along by a Mama Maroon clownfish that sometimes made a run at him if he got too close to the pair's territory. I enjoy having these guys, but gave up after the third one stopped eating & starved. First one fell victim to a powerhead. No 2 was the carpet surfer.

I had a diamond gobie go for a ride down the overflow but ended up in a spot that it would have requires him to jump over sump baffles

I too have had a Red lip who tried to carpet surf his way in to a fresh water guppy tank but i think he was tired of the taste of salt water.
