It's easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

My wife now accepts the hobby and knows it's better not to ask the price.

I have to be honest and say that When my tank was at work, I would save up some of my extra spending cash and spend it on the tank without the wife knowing. Now that I shut down that tank, and have a new 90g at home, it is now my wife that I catch sneaking things in the tank....lol Got to love Karama eh?
