Default Reef Octopus Nw200 with psk 2500 HELP!

Hey I purchased this protein skimmer off a local reefer and can't seem to get the bubbles to reach the chamber. The bubbles are also very small. I am new to the in sump skimmers so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks everyone for future replies!

How new is the system and when did you start the skimmer? Your going to have some break in time, be patient. Is the tank stocked?
Looks from the pics that the system is new, also a bit more info would help.

Small bubbles is the good sign.
Things to consider :
proper water lewel
Unobstracted water pump intake
Unobstracted air intake
every skimmer will need a few days to breake in and a bio load as was mentioned before.
Second picture looks very normal in terms of bubble level.

I bought the skimmer used from a friend and the system is new there is just live rock and sand. It's a 72 gallon with a 26 gallon sump.

Let me know if you need anymore information
Thank you so much
