Shrimp and goby

I have the Watchman (non-sifting) Goby (top picture) and he's paired with my pistol shrimp. They make a great team.

I don't know if the sand sifter Gobys pair with shrimp

No, Valenciennea puellaris doesn't pair with pistol shrimp.

I went and dropped a bunch of money on coral today so getting a new fish is going to have to wait anyway
