![]() Thanks for the heads up Eli. If Windows users know anything about MicroSoft they would know that they never call endusers & it's even harder to get any good service from them without giving them a credit card number.
Another reason I have a triple firewall & multiple routers.

![]() Ok so maybe I am a bit confused, it looks {the video} like they are trying to access your modem through the phone line. If you are not using a phone line for a modem how would they accomplish this unless you give them your IP address and then and only then take down your firewall{s}?

![]() Twice I picked up spyware on my old computer that was pretty much the same thing except it had managed to deny me access to the internet and my control board unless I coughed up my CC number.....it claimed it was from Microsoft and if I persisted in trying to access the internet I would be criminally liable for spreading malware
I ended up buying a Mac ![]() |
