There are lots of options to avoid siphoning out the tank in a power failure. In fact, I would NOT want to rely on a siphon break hole because they can easily get plugged up.

what side of the city are you on???? if you like i can come over and give you the five minute course it would have to be after seven and tonight as im gone tomorrow but i wouldnt mind coming and answering any concerns you may have.....better to be safe and have it checked if your unsure of it let me know cheers

unless the pump return line is really low in the display you shouldn't need a check valve or siphon break.
