Mostly because it's extremely rare for anyone to be looking for exactly what someone is selling. So unless the price is worth buying everything and then parting out what isn't needed, it's generally not a great deal.

It's almost always better to part out a system, or be willing to sell at a 1/5th of it's value or even less.

But on a good note, since you don't really want to sell, it might work out for ya

Something came up yesterday, my larger tank is on hold until I figure this out. If I do not sell this tank I will be happy, as I do not want to sell it.

Also I said I would like to make room for a larger tank... LOL didn't say I can afford it right now. Maybe if the tax man gives me a refund this year, my wife may allow it...

Thanks for the offer, but without ALL the hardware my fish and corals will die. I most likely will not selling this set up now. I would like to sell it to someone who wants it all. I know that is rare to find someone looking, with that amount of cash.
