That sucks Laurie, sorry to hear about the cleaner not surviving. It is truly sad when one of your favorite fish turn on others. I to have been thinking of moving out or parting with mine as I would like to have some other types of wrasse.

if he's got chunk out of his body, I would suspect he went too close to the trigger.
It's sad that some fish have to suffer like that.

Ya the 6-line is bizarre he totally attacked the cleaner wrasse and yet he leaves the little fairy wrasse alone, I don't get it
 The other fish in there are my king angel 3 triggers and a toby puffer so I don't think he'll try anything with them  however I do have a mandarin goby which after hearing what Tony posted I'm a bit concerned now. He's never shown any interest in the mandarin so far but I don't really trust him now. Still think I might catch him a toss him in the reef but my red corris wrasse (who I can't catch out of the reef tank for the life of me ) kept chasing the 6-line into the overflow so I'm not to sure about that. Of the 6-line is bigger and meaner now so maybe he'll hold his own now.
