Sounds good. So glad we did this...now if you would only start your build so that I can copy you, everything would be great!

Showed up as expected and looks good. I knew the dimensions of the stars but I didn't realize how compact they were until holding in my hand. Looking forward to starting this project.

I forgot to update this thread but I received mine last week some time, everything was great. Is there another group buy on? I would like a half dozen or so more whites... just wondering. Milad, would you care to comment? Thanks.

Hey I just noticed the XM-L series there on your site. Are they much better? And are they still compatible with the same drivers (I'm using meanwell 60-48-D's)? Could you mix and match the old XP-G with them on the same driver? Thanks.

Well I blinded myself with a XP-G
the XM-L will burn my eyes, lol.

They are the new kid on the block. They XP-G can go up to 1.5A and the XM-L can do 3A

I believe the XM-L T6 is about 10-15% brighter at 1A than the XP-G

You can put them on the meanwell 60-48-D at full blast and they wont skip a beat, 1.3A is nothing for them. at 1.3A they only take up about 3.1v so you could get 15 in a series.

But if you are going to put them in the same series as the XP-G you want to turn down the amperage on the meanwell 60-48-D to about 1A so you dont over run the XP-G (that way they will last very long time)

But there is one problem, there are hardly any optics for them. So you have to hang it close to the surface on a shallow tank (14inches or so). Its because the T5 just came out the first of Jan and the T6 came out a week ago or so. You should see some optics in the next month or two. im hot on the optics trail.

They will be replacing the XP-G but without the optics, I would still probably buy XP-G.... unless I had a shallow tank.
