I'm not saying your Zoas are Magicians, I don't think they are. I do have a mini colony of small Palys. I don't know the name of them...they are dark with white speckles all over them.

Try leaving out the red part. Flower Anemones come in many colors, and depending on specie they can look different. That's my best guess, but there's a lot of weird nems out there. Have you touched it? Is it sticky? Did you get a palpable sting? I don't condone touching an unknown nem, though I would do it.

It stings? Ooooo, lemme try! That's how I got stung by a Pacific Sea Nettle. They are the only Jellyfish in ocean near Vancouver Island that actually sting...not that I'd know.
