that's what figure as well.. at least I know that I don't have to test the water everyday. I was worrying about magnesium might get low and drop my calcium level.
my reactor tuned so quickly got anything to do with it's control by pH controller?? I have mine set @ ph 7.8(sump) to cut off Co2.

I dose Mg along with the calcium reactor. I just dump some Mg in whenever I feel like it....maybe every other week? Just from the first 6 months of my tank running I knew it used a lot of Mg. I don't test anymore but I just put in some Mg every now and then.
