How about 2 pcs of 3/4" steel tubing cut to fit the inside length of the tank? Or you could use a couple of 1x4 or 1x2 pieces of lumber as the actual height is 3/4". You could cut out a piece of plywood to fit inside the bottom of your stand but I would still support it underneath with the 1x2's as even small sags can cause a tank to crack.
