![]() finished! after about 3 days and 8 hours roughly worth of time invested the overflow has finished. The full list of equipment used was
electric drill with 1/4" bit heatgun saw methyln chloride dremel the result: ![]() ![]() ![]() now i just need to find out how to cut these damn vinyl tubing straight so it doesnt look so messed up...funny that out of everything i did i cant do one of the simpliest |

![]() Nice work. I think it is humanly impossible to cut vinyl tubing square because it compresses as you cut it as well as the difference between inside and outside circumference of the coil. Maybe put a dowel in it to straighten it out to cut it.

![]() try some pvc cutters (used to cut flex pvc/spa flex) or a band saw.

![]() I just noticed that I've updated my thread on every other site but canreef and this is my local forum too...wow. alright to bring everyone up to speed. I have a new system lol....for those who have followed the nano-reef or reefcentral forums you guys know the update. I'll take a few more FTS in the near future and post it. Meanwhile I was working on a little project over the weekend, and hope you guys will enjoy it.
