Default Moonlight Simulation LED Light

Hi,

I am interested in the Moonlight Simulation LED Light.

http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/ep...3+4+Watt).html

I was wondering how they attach above your tank? If you use them could you please post some pics?

Thanks

I purchased one of these before:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Moontube-Moon-Con...item2305bd28c6

Difference is it automatically dims and brightens to actually simulate the lunar cycle. Kinda cool and you can get as many little LED bars you need for your tank and they come with clips that just use double sided tape.

I'm sure the one you're looking at probably just uses double sided tape as well.

Do you need to 'adjust' the moon cycle? or do you just plug it in, and walk away?

Been toying with the idea of putting some "night" lights on the tank.

You can adjust it manually or it can be set to automatic, so yes you can plug it in and walk away. It's a cool effect but remember that most of the time your tank will not be fully lit so if the system is for night observation it's not ideal.

I don't "observe" at night. That is what the actinics are for I will have too look into getting one in the new year.
