McDonalds didn't become the worlds largest fast food chain through false advertising. People are always jealous of large successful companies and you will find lies about most of them. KFC and the live headless chickens they raise in 2 weeks for example. Personally I thought the double down was pretty good and the combo is no more expensive than DQ or A&W pricing.
