![]() With a 90 Gal tank, two 400W metal halides, and a 110 Gal sump (not full). I also have 2 100Gal resivoirs heated and mixed, and a 125Gal freshwater with 140Gal sump and my power bill effectivly doubled from 45$ to $90 a month. Not too bad but definitely noticable.

![]() For about $25 at Canadian Tire you can buy a watt meter and it will calculate both your usage and it cost. I bought one to get a better understanding of the total wattage that I was running on a single circuit.
My 3 tanks total approx 400G cost me about $45 to $50 per month. Tom R |

![]() I have never even looked or cared "my" theory is if I have to worry how much it costs to run maybe I shouldn't have one in the 1st place
