Pros:
Very bright with individual reflectors very little heat transfered to tank lots of bulb combinations Cons: no built in fans no place to put a splash guard and for some reason they built this light with the 2 switches so you can run it in 2 - 4 bulb combos, problem is, there is only 1 power cord, so all the bulbs have to run off one timer.
