caulastrea question

I was given a caulastrea frag with 7 heads, one of which looks dead (skeleton showing on one side of the head but some soft tissue remaining). Should I remove the dead head? or leave it as is for the time being?

I'd leave it - if the rest is healthy it will likely grow back and fill in.
