![]() Starting a journal is a good way for people to get to know you.
Everyone can see it and it shows up in new posts. Introduce yourself there and your tank. People will follow. I started a new thread about my new set up. I am not new here, but I got hundreds of hits. Give it a shot.

![]() The journal section is a document of your tank in its creation and continuing journey. I think that's the best place to introduce yourself. While it's nice to say 'hi i'm new here'...we're all here for our tanks. Either running or in the works. I'd rather see more tank threads than a bunch of intro threads where I'm likely not going to see much besides a bunch of hellos and welcomes.
Just my 0.02 though. |

![]() Personally I wouldn't look at intro threads but if you introduced yourself with a question or tank journal then for sure I would.
