We do smoke in the house, but never near the fish room. In the midst of building our new fish room, i have planed to have it a smoking room. All tanks are in wall, with a sump room which will be totally sealed with it's own ventilation, so the smoke(be it good or skunkin) will not be an issue. Only the good stuff will be allowed in the sump room.

Never smoked in the house when I was a smoker (two years since I quit)
Skimmers do react to the O2 levels in the house. Most notice it after parties. The skimmers react differently when many people are over. New homes in the summer notice it too (unless they have a good HVAC system)

Enjoying something that will either speed up yor death or give you a serious cancer doesn't make sense to me. Smoking ruins families and lives, especially mine. I would lovebto live in a world with out smoking.
