[quote=gobytron;516624]BUT...
Delta is like an hour or so out of downtown in good traffic. I would say from downtown Oa and J&L are the exact same distance. It takes about 35mins to get to both. Chris |

Both are great stores . If you have time I would check out as many as you can in the lowermainland. I frequent them all and they all offer a different sellection and much of the same.

while a great store with very friendly staff (what up Janet), OA is out in the boonies...lol
Even if they are both the same distance from Vancouver, the trip to Delta is rough and traffic can get really bad on river road as well as going over the alex fraser or queensborough. I live very close to JL but regularily make the trek out to OA due to their often hand picked selection of coral and green friendly staff.... If you have the time and motivation, it IS worth trying to find. |

Island Pets, Ocean Aquatics, Aquariums West, King Eds Pet Center the only one i didn't go to was Rogers Aquatics. I really enjoyed the fish stores here compared to the ones back in Winnipeg i may have to go to rogers aquatics tomorrow. Also the traffic was not bad at all today when i got in on Thursday last week it took me like 1:45 to move 20km i was going crazy lol well thanks again to everyone that led me to these fish stores P.S The huge grouper and shark tank was awesome |

Nice one.
Glad I didn't deter you from heading out to OA. Thanks for setting the distance straight Chowder... So I gotta ask, which store impressed you the most as an unbiased party? |
