thats a great shot of the mandrin but it is not a goby nor a blenny. otherwise its an easy win with the mandarin dragonet.

unless this contest is based on common names.

I would agree because my pic is kinda sucky but I do love the Mandrin pics they are awesome.

You pose an interesting point though. It is not a goby but it is called a goby.. So what does that mean ? :-). On top of that I am pretty sure they don't speak a word of Mandarin. At least not any of the ones i've met!

Here's my Amblyeleotris steinitzi standing guard. Unfortunately the pistol shrimp partner, Alpheus bellulus was no where to be seen.

Don't know if this qualifies but the pistol shrimp finally came out.
