![]() So here is the latest dilemma.
I thought my little aqua bee was not cutting the pace so upscaled to a Tunze silence 700GHP (ok not so silent compared to the aqua bee) My dilemma is this The sump is about 10 gallon, so would you A, High flow. Or B slow is best? I am leaning towards slow as if nothing else the tank seems calmer in terms of noise. |

![]() Is there a right or wrong though? Does a skimmer perform better with higher flow than lower flow?
My skimmer seems to be performing better at high flow, but could just be me LOL. Interested to know if there is a right or wrong or just, whatever you prefer. |

![]() Mike IMO and IME slow flow through a sump is alot better in getting the crap out faster and heating the water too.
