i have a huge soft spot for 40 breeders so thats what i would reccomend. the shallow look is amazing but either are great choices.

For a 24" tank, you'll need much more powerful lights to achieve the same success as with a shallow tank. Tall tank has advantage for increasing flow options, but a shallow tank is much cheaper/easier to properly light.
