It is sometimes easy to forget the simple things that really work.
Two month ago my zoos and LPS weren't looking the best, all water tests were perfect, and an extra water change made everything happy.
Today they were looking down again, water was perfect, extra water change had no effect. Noticed that the water flow wasn't quite up to par though. I clean my powerheads monthly, but there was a build up inside the propeller magnet and on the pin, slowing the propeller rotation - cleaned it thoroughly and the corals are happy once again.
Blasting debris off of the rocks keeps the corals, coralline algae, and the feather duster happy.

What simple things do you find keep your corals happy?

i find my corals really enjoy smaller more frequent water changes ...i was doing 30G every two to three weeks on my 150 then changed to 5g every three or four days and wow way more growth then before

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
defiantly have to say the less fiddling you do the happier things seem to be.
