![]() Louongo should have played from the start. I wondered about Brodeur even being chosen for the team. HIs last month in the NHL has been his worst in 12 years. This may not be a bad thing however, Team Canada is going to get two more games under them now as a team before the medal rounds start and that will give them more time to gel. Its not that big of a loss, sure it sucks, but look at the juniors, they beat the USA then lost in the gold medal game. This will make a gold just that much sweeter. And it will give the team an eye opener on what they need to work on, mainly shooting the puck and working the body. NO worries. Plus I can watch two more games then I would have got to!

one thing we have to remember is men's olympic hockey isn't like womans where the rest of the world is no good, this is more like allstar hockey ever since the NHL players have been allowed to play. so ya we have the best goalies on pretty much every team, but we also have the best defencemen, forwards, ect.. so they guys you normaly see a couple times a year that score on Lou/marti when they play them are playing every game against him now, so there will be more goals than normal.
