What are you doing to keep all the different species from killing each other in coral wars? They are all so close, some even touching...in my tank they would do away with each other in a polyp battle at night.

You have to see Greg's tank in person, it is just amazing and somehow the corals just do well. The intermixing of coral species is what makes things even more SPECTACULAR!!!

Hey that is an awesome question!! I would like to know as well. If my corals so much as give a dirty look to one another they will start to die.

Corals grow pretty tight together in the wild so why not in a captive reef? Do I get the odd sting patch or loose the odd branch off a colony in a fight? Of course but it's worth it. The trick is to place them together in a way they won't kill each other.
