Oh ya I see that now just looked it up. That would work just fine, the eshopps psk-100 might even work depending on how big the cup is.

anyone used the "ASM G1 Protein Skimmer"??? looks like it may fit as well, but a bit more expensive

I have an Aqua-medic Turboflotor Blue which can be HOB or in sump (I use it in sump) on my 70G and it's only 18.5" tall. I really like it and though I'm not sure who carries it in Calgary (probably Wei's) I got mine from Aquacave.com (they ship to Canada fine) and it's only $179.

I think its a great skimmer for the dough. Set and forget with a very large skimmer cup and really low power usage at only 12W on the meshwheel pump. Pulls a fully cup of skim-mate from my tank every week.

Something else to think about I guess.
