Koralia mod
I just modded my k3 and all I can say is holy $&%@.
All you have to do is cut out every second rib on the front and the back piece. Watch out because some of the ribs are supporting the motor. I would guess it increases the output by at least 30%. It will probably cut down on cleaning too

Has anyone else tried this mod out? |

Hey I got the idea from RC. I'll change my opinion from 30% to at LEAST 50%
I'll post some pics after I make dinner for the kid. It took me about 10 min

Mind posting the linkt to RC?
Not that I don't trust you, I'd just like to research it a bit before I chop up about $200 worth of powerheads. Thanks! |

I just did it on my k4 (I've got an extra dead one hanging around, so worst case scenario is I have to scavenge the cage from that one if it fails). It does incrase the flow, not sure I'd say 50%, but definitely a noticeable increase in flow.
