Bubble Magus NAC7 Cone skimmer

Any idea what the required water level is for this skimmer?? I don't have that high of a sump and I know that the Bubble Magus NAC6 requires 11" of water as I have one of those and it works fantastic. If this skimmer doesn't require over 7" I am game!!

The recommended level is 8.5"to 9.5"

Thanks for the info looks like I have enough room and will most likely be going with this skimmer as the other one is awesome!!
