There is some dark gunk but it is still breaking in ill keep you updated on it and yes it is 110V.

Why did you run it in vinegar and then in a pail of saltwater instead of putting it straight into the sump?

Cleans any manufactuing oils and release agents

Any idea what the required water level is for this skimmer?? I don't have that high of a sump and I know that the Bubble Magus NAC6 requires 11" of water as I have one of those and it works fantastic. If this skimmer doesn't require over 7" I am game!!
