Default Snail ID

Found this snail today. Anyone know what kind it is? Its shell circular and black with white markings going across it.

Welcome aboard. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it could be a sundial snail(coral preditor). If it is they only eat zoas.

I'm thinking it may be a Sundial snail as well. They have a tell-tale cone shaped piece that closes over the hole in their shell when they retract their body. Here is a good pic of one:

If you have Zoas you would want to remove them as that is their exclusive diet. Some people use them to eradicate their tanks of plague Zoas though. LOL
