![]() Ya, try letting the pump soak in white vinegar for a few hours, then re-try.

![]() When I got the pump it was in very dirty condition. The first thing I did was clean it inside and out - she is very clean
![]() if it is a connection thing - I think it is internal because after it runs for 3 mins it stops - this leads me to believe that something is disconnecting once the pump heats up. Once the pump cools off it starts again... what do you guys think? |

![]() This is super strange, this pump ran without a hiccup for a year. I unplugged it, packed it in its original box and sent it.

![]() It could be a cold solder joint very common in solder joints that were soldered VAI wave soldering or a person with a shaky hand. It can also be in the plug-in head if the wire has broken it will heat up and the insulation will exspand and break the conection I've seen this a few times. This is why you are suppose to unplug electrical items by the plug-in head.

![]() So the best I can come up with for a replacement pump is a SIDRA 20000
The GX 6000 does 6000 L/M = 1600 G/H for the price (I want to keep it as low as possible) - The Sidra 20000 does 2000 G/H, I don't want to add heat to my system as well... That is the best I can come up with - any thoughts or ideas? is there a place I can get a GX 6000 locally (Edmonton, Calgary or even Canada?) Please help if you have ideas... Thanks guys! |
