Ya, try letting the pump soak in white vinegar for a few hours, then re-try.

When I got the pump it was in very dirty condition. The first thing I did was clean it inside and out - she is very clean

if it is a connection thing - I think it is internal because after it runs for 3 mins it stops - this leads me to believe that something is disconnecting once the pump heats up. Once the pump cools off it starts again...

what do you guys think?

This is super strange, this pump ran without a hiccup for a year. I unplugged it, packed it in its original box and sent it.

So the best I can come up with for a replacement pump is a SIDRA 20000

The GX 6000 does 6000 L/M = 1600 G/H
for the price (I want to keep it as low as possible) - The Sidra 20000 does 2000 G/H, I don't want to add heat to my system as well...

That is the best I can come up with - any thoughts or ideas?

is there a place I can get a GX 6000 locally (Edmonton, Calgary or even Canada?)

Please help if you have ideas...

Thanks guys!
