![]() fish are hit and miss right now!! between the initial cupramine dosing causing the ammonia to skyrocket, my wc's to drop amonnia diluting the cupramine alowing the ich to come back, not being able to find an ammonia test thats not effected by the cupramine, crappy lfs advice.on and on and on!!lol
right now i'm doing a large water change on my dt, taking that water into the qt and basically gonna start over with pvc tubes for the fish and no live rock.then because the fish will be in qt for 8 weeks i'm gonna re-start the cupramine mildly, increasing as i go, monitoring everything alot closer as i go!! |

![]() I treated a large number of fish with cupramine. Luckily, I had access to a 180g tank and a skimmer. Even so, it was difficult to keep ammonia at a safe level. I found that I had to change about 10g of water daily. It was a royal PITA but successful.

![]() 10gal a day out of a 180 doesn't seem bad!! I'm close to 10gal a day in a standard 29!!!
