Default Aiptasia in my tank - How to get rid of it?

I just noticed one of these guys hitchhiked onto a frag I recently purchased. I heard that they cause issues in reef tanks with fish.

My problem is I can't seem to grab the thing because it shrinks in between a crevis in the rock before I can attempt to grab it. It also isn't very big. Any tips/ideas on capturing it?

It is on the left of the rock..small lil fella.

They are a pain as they multiply.
Inject with kalk paste or lemon juice. That or Peppermint shrimp, file fish will eat them.

Your choice:
1. Paste...works when you can hit them...
2. Berghi...works but you have to have 3/ gallon
3. Butterfly fish....maybe works...doesn't have a long shelf life
4. Shrimp......works when you have 1/ 5gal...
5. Hack/slice and dice...works if you want more of them
6. Take you frag out of the tank and carefully apply hot water to the aiptasia

I have found that a syringe and sharp needle with lemon juice works well. Stab it into the crevice right around the center of the little bugger is and give it a couple of squirts. 100% success rate for me so far but maybe I'm just lucky.

The syringes that come in the salifert test kits with the plastic thingy on the end are sufficient to stab and inject aiptasia

To get the ones with the needle portion of it, go to your local Shoppers Drug Mart or any pharmacy (medical supply store) and get the ones over the prescription counter for insulin.

Have 2 shrimp in my overflow and they are cleaning the problem up nicely...once they are done they will be move to the main display area to be preventative maintenance.
